Since your getting components i see that you want a nice clean system. the advise im giving you is not biased because i have a w7. my uncle owns a car audio shop in queens and goes to sound competitions and ive heard almost everything in terms of subs and some components. so here it is;
Components-
i have heard mb-quarts, old version beymas and new and JL audio components. The New Beymas do not distort even when blasting thats deff my first choice above all. Pricey i bet.1. The New Beyma components

3. well mb quarts are right next to JL audio. Subwoofers 1. W7- heard this sub in the same box and setup with a memphis mojo, orion, db drive, earthquake, juggernaut.
W7 hits the low base lines like nothing else. i cant express that enough. i waited like you to find the sub that gave me what i wanted and this wins by far. 2. Memphis Mojo, great sound would have chose this but the sound the w7 puts out is just cleaner and without distortion. Advise on the slim line subs. my bro tries out the NEWEST slim memphis 10 inch. blahh will not give you deep base for shit. and if you have to go with a slim sub u have to have the box built big enough. and you have to keep the box u have already. Overall id say the jl 10 inch w7 is great for a z u know why? Because its the type of system that you dont have to touch, or upgrade. you will be satisfied without a doubt. I hope this helped you out. systems cost alot of money so i understand. if theres is anything that u want to know and cant find elsewhere lemme know and ill find out from my uncle.
